Focus on the exhibition: Terraphilia: Beyond the Human in the Thyssen-Bornemisza Collections

The museum is presenting Terraphilia: Beyond the Human in the Thyssen-Bornemisza Collections, an exhibition that brings together more than a hundred works from the Thyssen-Bornemisza, Carmen Thyssen and TBA21 Thyssen-Bornemisza Art Contemporary Collections. 

With a title that combines the terms Terra (Earth) and philia (love and friendship), the exhibition expresses these concepts through sections devoted to issues such as cosmograms, animated worlds, the art of dreams, objectivity, relationships with the Earth, mythical times and oceanic cosmogonies. 

In this activity, which is part of the “Focus on the Work” programme, Friends have the opportunity to enjoy a preview of the exhibition before it opens to the public, as well as guided private tours, both in-person and online, with options of different dates and times.
