The February edition of “Focus on the Work” centres on Express by Robert Rauschenberg. The canvas is the subject of the special installation Rauschenberg: Express. On the move, organised as part of the international commemoration of the centenary of the birth of this American artist.
Marta Ruiz del Árbol, senior curator of Modern Painting at the museum, accompanies participants in a discovery of Rauschenberg’s iconographic sources, his working methods and the impact of his art, among other aspects.
