To coincide with International Women's Day, the museum is organising guided tours that offer a comprehensive overview of the representation of the image of women throughout the history of art, from the Renaissance to the 20th century. These tours highlight the transformations which that image has undergone in accordance with the cultural norms and contexts of each era. Virtue, ideal beauty, sensuality, emancipation, illness, the female self-portrait, woman as temptation, modern female artists and intellectuals, and muses are some of the concepts explored in the tour.
