#VersionaThyssen XXV Awards
Walk through the rooms of the collection in semi-darkness and discover a selection of the versions of this edition, projected next to the original paintings. Juan Sanguino will announce the winning works.
To close the ceremony, we’ll be treated to a concert by Las Petunias, a Madrid-based band made up of Elsa, Natalia, and Cecilia that has managed to capture something unique: the raw and enchanting essence of youth. Their style—a fusion of punk rage and pop melodies—isn’t afraid to be vulnerable or irreverent. Their debut LP, “Creo que soy de porcelana” (2024), is a sonic testament to their anxieties, romances, and the dizzying experience of being twenty-somethings with a lot to say. Live, they’re a whirlwind: their performances, brimming with charisma and an unapologetic attitude, turn every audience member into a fan. They’ve played festivals like Primavera Sound and share a label with artists like Carolina Durante. Their time is now.
