A Valencian flamenco dancer based in Madrid for more than twenty years, Raquel Valencia began her dance training at the age of four and perfected her skills at institutions such as the Professional Dance Conservatory of Valencia and the Carmen López School, as well as with great flamenco masters.

Since 1998 she has developed a fully-fledged career as a performer and teacher, appearing with companies, flamenco venues and on national and international stages. She has been a soloist with the Antonio Gades Company since 2019 and is the artistic director of the Cafetín La Quimera flamenco venue. She has collaborated closely with the Tribueñe Company and with the playwright Hugo Pérez de la Pica. In 2023 she was appointed a member of the International Dance Council (CID) by the United Nations Office for the Arts and Sciences (UNOTA), in recognition of her artistic career and commitment to dance.
