Pro Helvetia

Pro Helvetia is a public law foundation that supports and disseminates Swiss art and culture. As a promotional institution of the Swiss Confederation, it is responsible for the promotion and dissemination of Swiss culture abroad as well as the participation of Swiss artists at major international cultural events. It also promotes cultural dialogue between the different parts of the country and supports the arts in a supra-regional context.

The foundation’s main contributions are in the field of cultural events, projects and exhibitions. Moreover, Pro Helvetia supports translation and research programmes, the promotion of promising young artists in Switzerland and abroad, and artistic and cultural education. The exhibition Claudia Comte. After Nature is sponsored by Pro Helvetia as part of its funding programme for visual arts projects.
