The Museum, in compliance with Law 19/2013 on Transparency, access to public information and good governance, provides citizens with access to public information. All persons have the right to access public information, under the terms provided in Article 105.b) of the Spanish Constitution, developed by the Transparency Act. Public information is all the contents or documents, whatever their format or medium, that are in the Museum's possession and that have been created or acquired in the exercise of its functions.

The right of access may be limited in the cases contemplated by the Law, among others: National Security, Defense, Economic and Monetary Policy, for the protection of personal data and others specified in Articles 12 to 24 of Law 19/2013.
