This legal notice sets forth the terms and conditions of acceptance required for the use by visitors to the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum ("Users") of the Wi-fi network deployed in the facilities of the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum (the "Museum") for access to the Internet and other contents that can be made available to the users in the future.

The Thyssen-Bornemisza (the "Foundation") provides to the users an electronic communications service in self-provision regime, in accordance with Act 32/2003 of 3 November (State Telecommunications Act) and Circular 1/2010 of the CNMC. The Foundation is a private cultural and non-profit foundation, provided with company identification number G-79015251, residing at Paseo del Prado 8, 28014 Madrid, registered in the Register of Private Cultural Foundations of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport with the number 225, page 24. The use of the Wi-fi network by the users is free.

The users are solely responsible of making proper and diligent use of the Wi-fi network and of the device used to access the same in accordance with the current legislation. The use of the Wi-fi network for illegal activities or contrary to good faith, or prejudicial to rights and interests of third parties is prohibited. Likewise its use to damage, disable, overload, or, in general, prevent the normal use of the Wi-fi network or other systems and equipment of the Museum, its suppliers or third parties is also forbidden.

The Foundation has a limited bandwidth for Internet access. Access speed and stability of the service may vary depending on numerous factors such as, among others, the capabilities of the device used by the user, the level of the wireless network coverage or the number of connected users. The Foundation does not guarantee a stable and fast access to the Wi-fi network. Service could be interrupted temporarily or permanently at any time without notice. The Foundation does not undertake to provide to the users any kind of technical assistance.

The Wi-fi network of the Museum uses a frequency band of 2.4 GHz. The communications are protected with a firewall and a content filtering system. The Wi-fi network only allows users to access to the Web through the http and https protocols.

The Foundation does not supervise the use by Users of the Wi-Fi network, nor collects any kind of personal data as a result of the use of the Wi-fi network.

To use the wifi, the visitor is redirected to a landing page which uses cookies. Here you can find information on what a cookie is. It is, in short, a text file that is sent to a web browser while a user is browsing that website and it is used to store and access information regarding the navigation conducted with the same browser.

These Terms and Conditions may be modified at any time without notice. Users must accept the updated version of these Terms and Conditions each time they access the Wi-Fi network.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Spanish law.
