Within the context of Madrid otra mirada (MOM), a cultural dissemination project promoted by the city council, the museum is offering a tour of the permanent collection based on the theme of the image of women and their representation in the history of art, from the Renaissance to the 20^th century.

Virtue, ideal beauty, sensuality, emancipation and illness are some of the concepts to be analysed during this visit, in addition to issues relating the presentation of women as the intellectual, the artist’s muse or the temptress.
