The exhibition The French taste presents a selection of paintings, drawings, sculptures, everyday items and luxury and decorative objects which together allow for a comprehensive vision of French art in Spain in the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries. Through the approximately 110 works on display, this private tour will allow Friends to appreciate the evolution in the exchange of works of art between the two countries and their influence on their respective cultures.

Among the works in the exhibition are four from the museum’s permanent collection: The Young Musicians by Le Nain; Portrait of Madame Bouret as Diana by Nattier; The Rape of Europa by Vouet; and Still Life with a Pestle and Mortar, Pitcher and Copper Cauldron by Chardin.
