#VersionaThyssen XXIII
We are back! Surprise us and surprise yourself with your creativity. We are inviting young creators and creatives from all over the world to reinterpret works from the collection to compete for new prizes. If you are between 16 and 35 years old, participate on Instagram in this competition that has no limitations of artistic discipline or theme.
This edition features the unique perspective of Hugáceo Crujiente, guest artist and jury member, bringing their bold and personal vision to the #VersionaThyssen universe.

Choose one of these works of our permanent collection. You can participate with one or more versions
Requirements for participation
- Creators between the ages of 16 and 35, from anywhere in the world, can participate. Important: if you are a minor, you must send us an authorisation to a versiona@museothyssen.org.
- Post your version from a public Instagram account including hashtags #VersionaThyssen23 and #VersionaThyssen, mention to a @museothyssen, and the title of your work and of the original painting.
- You can participate with more than one version.
- The work must be published between 16 June and 6 July 2025.
- If you would like your work to be exhibited at the museum on the day of the competition presentation, please send it to us.
Up to €1,000 in prizes
- 3 first prizes of €1.000
- 3 second prizes of €500
- Advantages in the museum.
Awards ceremony on 18 July at 21.00
Walk through the rooms of the collection in semi-darkness and discover a selection of the versions of this edition, projected next to the original paintings. Abril Zamora will announce the winning works and to close the party we will have a concert.... all the details soon!
