Lecture on the work The Cheval-Glass (1876), within the lecture series given by Guillermo Solana, the museum’s artistic director and the curator of the exhibition, in conjunction with the temporary exhibition Heroines . Each lecture focused on a work in the Permanent Collection that represents a different vision of women during a period (from the late 19th century to the early 20th century) that was crucial for female political and social emancipation.
