Educational programme for people with special needs and social action

The museum has created a special educational programme, Hecho a Medida (or Made to Measure) aimed at children, young people and adults. It offers a range of recreational activities to bring these groups closer to the world of art in creative and accessible ways.

With Hecho a Medida the needs of each participant are analysed to create a space adapted to their particular needs, eliminating barriers and offering a tailor-made learning experience. The programme is aimed at students, teachers and representatives of educational centres for children and adults, special needs educational centres and integration groups and social entities.

The programme is organised by EducaThyssen, the museum's education department. It aims to provide a unique journey through the museum, whilst addressing any physical, cognitive, sensory and communicative needs of the participants.
