SIGNUS Ecovalor is a non-profit organisation created in May 2005 at the initiative of the main tyre manufacturers with the aim of being used as a mechanism through which all producers who so wish can comply with their obligations under Royal Decree 1619/2005.

The aim is to reduce the number of disused tyres, establish the legal guidelines for their production and management, and encourage their reuse and recycling.

SIGNUS is an important tool for the responsible management of tyres once they have reached the end of their life. Tyres can be reused for a number of purposes such as making security floors, filling artificial turf, the construction of roads, or even as a replacement fuel source for large industrial facilities such as cement plants.
