Take a closer look at the works in the collection from the point of view of the museum's restorers and you will learn about the treatments carried out on the paintings as well as some of the secrets and curiosities hidden in a selection of our Masterpieces.

With this virtual guided tour you can travel through seven centuries of art history through fifteen masterpieces and delve deeper into our collection. Narrated by our curators, discover the little stories hidden in the paintings at any time and pause the guided tour whenever you want.

On Saturdays and Sundays from February to May 2026 the museum will be offering guided tours of the exhibition Hammershøi. The eye that listens, the first retrospective in Spain to be devoted to the Danish artist Vilhelm Hammershøi (1864-1916).

Otro Thyssen is an experimental platform within LabThyssen that invites young creators to reinterpret the museum’s collection through contemporary perspectives.

Once again this year Friends have the opportunity to enjoy a free visit to the ARCOmadrid fair, which this year celebrates its 45^th edition.

To celebrate its 10^th edition, UVNT Art Fair has become CAN Art Fair Madrid and Friends of the Museum can once again enjoy a guided tour to discover the latest contemporary art proposals presented at this fair, held at Matadero Madrid. 

To coincide with International Women's Day, the museum is organising guided tours that offer a comprehensive overview of the representation of the image of women throughout the history of art, from the Renaissance to the 20^th century.
