The February edition of “Focus on the Work” centres on Express by Robert Rauschenberg. The canvas is the subject of the special installation Rauschenberg: Express. On the move, organised as part of the international commemoration of the centenary of the birth of this American artist.

Using elements such as traditional Canarian goatskin bags, the artist proposes a ritual in which she drops food for the audience to pick up, establishing a dialogue with the collection and bringing European colonial-era art closer to the bags used by indigenous communities.
