The musical experience The Need to Go invites us to put ourselves in the place of migrants through the painting The Madonna of the Village (1938 - 1942) by Marc Chagall and the music of Dúa de Pel. Thus, both artistic representations take us to a unique world between the conscious and the subconscious, to a world inhabited by memories of infancy and youth; a place, as Chagall himself would say, that “(...) uproots the self, in the sense that it rips it from the earth in which it has all its biological fibres”

Performing: Eva Guillamón and Sonia Megías, of Dúa de Pel; Marta Escudero, Rafael Tarjuelo and Rubén García-Casarrubios, of PlecTres; Beatriz Alcaine, wardrobe; and Natalia Martz, sound technician.

The Need to Go starts off with a musical tour Movement, Better Shared. A new experience as part of 360º Thyssen, the project that gives you the opportunity to enjoy the works of the museum from different perspectives thanks to the collaboration of Fundación BBVA.
